Outside the box
I took a little break to plant my garden. I’ve never been so happy to pull weeds in my
entire life. This winter was just way
too long. Let’s hope it’s over now. Here’s another pose from the Senior Photo
Shoot. It takes a very open minded
person to think outside the box and let me pose them in a nonconventional
pose. It might not be the print that you
would pick for your graduation invitations but it might look kinda cool on your
wall blown up on a canvas print. First
one is in full color and the other in Sepia.

Before and After
So here’s a good example of a BEFORE and AFTER picture I took. I’ve been interested in Photography since I was in High School but this is why I love Photography today. The ability to take a so-so picture and create a work of art out of it.... The possibilities are endless. I’ve also been interested in art since I was old enough to hold a pencil/crayon, so Photography has really allowed me to mix these two passions. So much fun! Enlarge to see rays of sunlight.

Senior High School shooting time.
It’s that time of the year again. We had so much fun shooting these Senior High
School pictures last weekend. I remember
Alijah when she was born. Time surely
flies by too fast. She was such a
sweetie and now she is a beautiful young lady that I know will go out into this
world and do some amazing things. I wish
her all the best life has to offer. It
was a perfect day for pictures but a bit chilly. Actually it was pretty dang cold. But she was a trooper. Can so one please tell
me if Spring is ever going to really get here?
It’s mid April and we were wondering if we were going to have to get the
snow blower out again. Looking forward
for some warmer days ahead. DBL Click to enlarge.

Botanical Gardens
Spring is a busy time of the year for me but I thought I’d
work on some prints in between photo sessions.
I’d like to say I took this picture in some exotic location but nope, I
took this picture at the Botanical Gardens in Atlanta “Hotlanta” GA. Beautiful gardens! So here is another HDR (High Dynamic
Resolution) example. I still get a kick
out of how much more rich I can make these pictures after the editing process. Can
you tell I love this program? I’m thinking
about taking a trip to Thanksgiving Point here in Utah. I heard it’s a really
nice place. I heard they have an incredible tulip display. Anyone know when Spring is going to get
here? When you DBL click on them you can see all the details. Crazy Amazing!!!

Spring photo shoot
It's been a while since my last post. We took a little R & R in the Tahoe/Reno area. I LOVE that place! I need to win a lottery so I can buy me a little shack by the lake. Or if a millionaire happens to be reading this post and would like to donate one to me... I promise you Free portraits for life. I'm joking... kinda. Hopefully we had our last winter storm of the season. Fingers, eyes and legs crossed. Looking forward to the upcoming Spring photo sessions that I've booked. Did I mention I love Spring? I took these pictures about two weeks ago. Tony will be confirmed on the 28th of this month. He's holding a rosary and a bible in his hands. I thought of this idea months ago and couldn't wait for someone to make a sacrament so I can try this pose out. It was a chilly evening and the mosquitoes were getting vicious as the sun was setting. Note to self: Pack lots and lots of bug repellant for my upcoming shoots. But we were lucky to get some really nice soft light with some rays shinning through the clouds. I remember Tony when he was a baby and it's just so hard to believe how fast time flies by. He's a young man now and I wish him all the best life has to offer. *Double click to enlarge.
