Here are a couple more pictures from my Senior Sessions. 1st one - pretty dang close to 10 degrees that evening. That was tough for both of us but more for her because I was able to bundle up. The other on a little warmer evening. I LOVE color but some pictures are stunning in Sepia and Black and White. Another fun thing is finding and making props for them to use. You can tell I love hats, scarfs and what ever else I can find to put on their heads. :o) I can't wait to show her these pictures.

Sunset
Here is one picture from a photo session I did yesterday. The colors are amazing. Vogue material. I love adding scarfs to their outfits. I still added a color pop to this. Little on the extreme side maybe but wouldn’t this look great on a wall? The sun was getting ready to set. I love how the evening light gives everything a golden glow. This young lady is getting ready to graduate and go off to college. I wish her all the best life has to offer. Crazy how fast time goes by. I remember her when she was a little girl. Which means I’m getting older too. Oh well, at least I’m enjoying my passion. More pictures to follow from her sessions.

Part two of Senior Session.
Here are a few pictures I took today from part 2 of one of my Senior Sessions. Had to get busy editing so I could order the wall size prints. I can’t wait to see these printed. Good luck to them trying to figure out which ones to enlarge. This is just too much fun. She's a city gal but she might just have to buy herself a cowboy hat now.

Sydney
I took this picture in Sydney Australia when we went in
2011. Just now getting around to editing
it in my HDR program. Too many pictures,
not enough time. Here’s the before and
after. This print might look nice on
canvas.

Backyard view...
This is a view from our back yard. Remember that storm I was talking about a
week ago? This is it minus the photo shopped sunbeams. Another HDR picture. I love watching storms, just not when I’m holding
a golf club. We’ve done that a couple of
times. Scary!! I took a few newly built homes
out of the picture, just didn’t look right.
I’ve always wanted a backyard
with a sunset view but this comes in a really close second. Hope you all are enjoying this hot weather.

EVERYBODY ALL ABOARD
Another picture I took from the High School Senior Session. Happens to be my favorite, I think. Reminds me of the song “Party Train” Gap Band. One of my all-time favorites too. Anyone remember that song? I love the expression on her face. Sometimes I’m really blessed to have a client allow me to have them act the part that I envisioned the night before. It’s my time to think of fun poses for the photo shoot. I’m like a kid trying to fall asleep the night before they go to Disney Land. It’s always a fun time but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little anxious before each shoot. But that’s what makes Photography so exciting.
Antelope Island Sunset
We took a drive to Antelope Island last Saturday. The bugs/gnats/mosquitos were HORRIBLE that
evening but I was able to get a few good
shots, so it was worth it. I only had a polarized filter on my lens. No color added. It’s hard to believe because the colors were
amazing, almost too colorful. Yes, the
bird is real. I didn’t Photoshop it in
there. Who doesn’t love a great sunset? But it would have been awesome to have been
on a real beach (Ocean) taking this picture.
But until then, this will have to do.
It’s Spring time!!!! Feels like summer
today here in Utah but you’re not going to hear me complain after the winter we
had… Yet.

Storm clouds
My son and I was outside playing four square this evening and this crazy storm came up fast so I did what any crazy photographer would do and grabbed my camera and shot a few quick pictures. I love the dark clouds. I used some actions on this picture to make it a little more dramatic. This is my big guy with his favorite shirt. Any one here in UTAH right now can back me up saying this was a crazy storm but super cool!!!
