I hope you all had a great Father's Day. We celebrated with both families yesterday so
I didn't get a chance to post this picture of my husband and our little
guy. I took this picture two years ago
in Australia. We went for a walk along
the beach but this was a sheer drop off cliff.
Scary! But I made a deal with
them that they go hand and hand to see the beautiful view. I guess sometimes we
have to take risks to experience
something out of the ordinary. I love
this picture. It reminds me of how we
allow our kids to venture out but we will always be there for them if they need
us. I love my guys, all of them.

Sunrise
I just had to share this photo I took the other
morning. My husband woke me up out of a
dead sleep, 100% REM!!!.. and told me
that I had to come and take a look at this sunrise and snap a picture of
it. I was half asleep but the color was
stunning so I had to try and get a shot.
I just wish I would have known it was going to be so beautiful so I
could have had someone up this early looking lovely to pose for me. How beautiful would this be to take bridal
pictures? Hard to believe but this picture was not photo shopped like my others.

Little Luke
This little boy will just melt your heart. Little Luke is just as sweet as he is
cute. It was such a pleasure to meet
this family and take pictures of their little guy. He is so friendly and welcomes everyone he
sees with a big “Hi”. My son made a new
friend. He calls him Luke
Skywalker. Luke is almost two but is so
smart for his age. The first picture
shows him praying. Too dang cute. The second picture shows him throwing us a
kiss. Is this precious or what?
Capital Reef, UT
We just came back from Loa UT. What a great place to get away from the big
city and just relax. We stayed at
the Road Creek Inn. We highly recommend
this hotel if you are ever in that neighborhood. We met a great family and plan
on returning to shoot some family pictures in the fall for them. We rented a Pontoon
boat at Fish Lake and we each caught one fish…
mine was the biggest… I’m just saying.
And no, it was not a carp. I promise next time I’ll take a picture to prove it. We also made it to Capital Reef. I was able to snap a few nice pictures. Here is the before and after of another HDR
print I made.

4th of July - Mommy and Me session
Summer has finally arrived, Memorial Day has passed & the 4th of July is just around the corner. Fireworks, running through the sprinklers and lots and lots of watermelon. I shoot this 4th of July – Mommy and Me session the other day. Meet little Dylan and Mommy Danielle. I always enjoy my photo sessions but this little guy had me laughing out loud. You’ve gotta take a look at his big beautiful blue eyes! Got goose bumps when uploaded & I saw the pictures of him holding the flag. His Mommy titled it, “Daddy, I’m Coming Home”. This session screams summer and it’s the perfect time for a Father’s Day gift. Dylan’s daddy is currently serving in the Military. I can’t wait until he gets to see these pictures of his beautiful wife and his big boy. It was a pleasure to meet them both. My family and I would like to thank everyone that has served in the military, past and present for your unselfish sacrifice so that we all can enjoy our freedom. And the wives that are holding down the fort here at home raising these beautiful children. Without these brave men and women, I would not be doing something that I absolutely love… creating works of art. DBL Click.
