Poppies and a picnic

This is utter torture for me!!!!!!! having to pick which pictures to edit on this photo shoot. There are so many perfect ones but I can't edit all 200 + darn. These two are model material. Right? Can't you see them on the front page of Vogue. It was so nice spending time with them yesterday. I love this part of my job. Yes these are real Poppies. Aren't they just gorgeous? Ya and the poppies aren't bad either.

Beauties for Dad's Day

OMGoodness, I have to share some pictures of some gorgeous girls I took pictures of last week. They're so much fun! Had me cracking up and I'm usually all business when I take pictures until I'm done then I can chill and  relax but NOPE not with these gals. We had so much fun the entire time!  I'm looking forward to watching these beauties grow up into beauty young ladies.  I love that part of my job... my returning clients. Being able to see the kiddos grow up right before my very eyes. 

5 Generations of Love

OMGoodness this has NEVER happened to me. I was OK when I was editing these pictures & I thought they came out OK but then when I watched the edited pictures on a slide show with music “Clair De Lune”… I started crying like a baby. I realized how beautiful these pictures really are. Not because of my work or their exterior beauty but the Love between them. FIVE GENERATIONS. Just think about how that baby is going to feel… looking at these printed pictures when she’s a full grown woman and seeing the love between them. Beauties

I took pictures of these two little beauties yesterday. They're gorgeous little girls and make my job so easy. It was so great to see them all again. The "Big Sis" is a returning customer so I have been so fortunate to see her grow up throughout the years. This little sweetie has me laughing out loud and that to me... is priceless. 

Bridals and Blossoms

I think I found my new favorite place to shoot pictures. This place is gorgeous. My husband and I took our Engagement pictures here a long time ago but they didn't have all the beautiful color that they do now. I also have Gift Certificates so if you don't know what you want for Mother's/Father's Day or if you haven't bought their gift yet... this is a perfect gift. I might have to shoot a full day over there. I just did a quick edit on these two pictures but she is stunning.

Creating Works of Art

Some people might not care for the artistic side of Photography and that's perfectly ok with me because actually I sometimes prefer some of my prints to not go through any editing.  Well maybe just a touch of sharpening but some pictures are just better left alone. However, I had to see what I could create with these two.  I’ve loved art for as long as I can remember.  I dabbled in Oil, Acrylic and Watercolors.  This to me is like taking a fairly blank canvas and adding to it until you love what you see.  Yes these pictures are more whimsical but every artist should be able to create the art that they care to create.  I have so many others to get to that it makes it hard to sleep.  It’s after midnight now so I better turn in. Spring has sprung!!!!!!

I love experimenting will my Macro lens.  I took this picture today and the overcast skies were perfect for beautiful and vibrant colors but it was so windy and so hard to get a really sharp picture.  However this little guy came out looking pretty dang good.  I love the little fur coat he’s sporting.  It's so amazing to see these pictures up close and personal and I think that’s why I love Macro photography so much.  To see all of the variations of color from each flower.  It’s like opening up Christmas presents when I upload my pictures and see what surprises I might have.  I took over 600 pictures today so I’m going to make a pot of coffee and edit until my little hearts content.   Edit Party!!!!
