How beautiful is this family and soon to have another member on the way in June. They're expecting a little girl. The soon to be Big Brother is just too dang cute. I meant to say, he's handsome. Just in case he reads this post. He has such a fun sense of humor. Those big brown eyes!
The sunset was perfect that evening so we had sweet light. Wasn't too bright so we were able to shoot in an open field. I love not having to hunt for shade. Even though it's winter and there was little color to be found. I was able to pull out some color in the editing process. This is another angle of this gorgeous building. San Fernando Cathedral from San Antonio, TX. It's also done in HDR (High Dynamic Resolution). I love this program, the rich color it brings out. No two prints are ever the same when working in this program. The detail are amazing. You end up seeing things that you never noticed before. Did I mention that I love this program?
I just came back from one of my favorite places to visit. The culture and music there is incredible and don't get me started on the food. I have plenty of places listed on my bucket list that I haven't checked off yet but boy have I been so blessed to have visited so many places this far. I took this picture with my husband's iPhone. What...??? a photographer not taking her expensive camera with her. Yes, sad but true. It was just a quick 5 day trip and I really wasn't thinking of all of the beauty that is over there. It drove me bonkers not having my camera with me. Not to self... bring it next time, even if it's a day trip. I have several pictures to edit so more to come. This is a picture of the San Fernando Cathedral in San Antonio "After" & "Before" in HDR. It's a stunning building and I had see what I could do in HDR with it. I love how the sun is peeking out just a tad. I might have to print this one on canvas.
Hi Everyone, Sorry it's been so long since my last post. I've been so busy this month but that's a good thing. I was fortunate enough to shoot pictures of this family. Clinton and his big sis Lucy sure are some cuties!! They are such a nice family and I'm looking forward to seeing these gorgeous kiddos as they grow up. We did this photo session in their house because it was just too cold for newborn outdoor photography. They happened to have this old chest that matched the cloth that I had brought with me to wrap their little angel in. How crazy is that? It was just meant to be. I just worked a little magic and heightened the colors a bit. What a beautiful family. So lucky to have met them.
This is my little cousin. I snapped a few quick photos of her in her Aunt's back yard in Phoenix a couple of years ago. Nothing fancy, no props, just plain beautiful. I didn't know Photoshop all that great like I do now but it came out OK. Gabby is such a sweet little girl and it was my pleasure to get to know her a little better. Another perk with my business. I remember her mamma when she was just a baby.
I had the pleasure of photographing this little cutie the other day and also my little guy. We took these at the Union Station. What a great place. It was a fun afternoon that ended with a nice lunch and time for me and her mom to chat and relax while the kids played a while. One thing I really have enjoyed about my business is having the ability to make some great friends along the way. Here are a couple more ideas for home made Valentine's Day cards.
I went out today on a quick photo shoot with some friends. It was such a fun time! I made this home made Valentines Day card for my youngest son. These ones are keepers and won't be thrown away.
